    As a member of Learning and Development, the Regional Trainer is an integral part in driving the customer experience and quality of Dash In.  This role is responsible for the implementation and assessment of field based learning and development for salaried and hourly team members for Dash In. 

    We are looking for a Regional Trainer to oversee training in our Maryland Markets. This role is home (remote) based in Southern Maryland and will travel to our store locations within a 100-mile drive. There will be occasions where the Regional Trainer will be asked to meet at The Wills Group Headquarters, La Plata MD.

    Accountabilities

    • Support Field Learning and Development
    • Oversee and deliver training of store employees such as Store Manager, Cashier’s and Associate Store Mangers. Content includes Fuel Safety, Inventory Management, Splash In standards, customer service training and other certification programs.
    • Facilitate training of new field initiatives and learning offerings
    • Evaluate training performance for each market against standards and take action through partnership with Retail Area and Store Managers
    • Perform Certified Training Store visits as needed to ensure quality training environments
    • Facilitation of Learning Content
    • Partner with Store and Regional Area Leaders to determine training needs
    • Hold Train the Trainer classes (on site or at off site locations)
    • Validate training program is being executed and delivering desired results
    • Validate in store associates as trainer performance against standards and coaching expectation and analyze learning and training data to measure overall effectiveness of learning
    • Facilitate online classes for field leadership as required
    • Recommends ways to streamline processes to ensure efficiency that enhance learners experience
    • Return on investment analysis to monitor the effectiveness of training techniques. This individual will act as a key agent in motivating and educating our team to support our key priorities.
    • Responsible for coordinating and facilitating the development and delivery of new store opening training and education, including onboarding and other related initiatives
    • Assesses, measures and calibrates training programs to achieve effectiveness in terms of employee accomplishments and performance objectives
    • Develops and shares best practices with additional Regional Trainers in the Field.  Participates in team regional meeting to provide internal training modules for presentation

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years hands-on training in fast-casual or full service restaurant/key facilitation skills
    • Minimum of 2 years of non-classroom training facilitation (such as running a training store, on the job training, etc)
    • At least 1 year of administrative duties that included: following up + responding to email, attending conference calls, basic use of word/excel
    • Knowledge of the theory and application of adult learning methods and demonstrated ability to “energize” a training classroom and ensure knowledge transfer using powerful, motivating, and effective presentations.
    • Must be a detail-oriented self-starter who is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done right.  Must excel at taking initiative, following through, handling a variety of responsibilities, staying focused with rapidly changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in a timely manner
    • Prior experience facilitating classroom training, following a facilitator guide and using webinar tools to deliver video training
    • Experience using learning and training technology to deliver multiple learning modalities
    • Ability to meet deadlines and complete work under limited supervision
    • Responsible for coordinating classroom logistics, facility operations, and setup of training PC’s and any conferencing equipment.
    • Experience with WebEx, Skype, Adobe platforms. Understanding of Cornerstone LMS a plus

    • Must own car

    • Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured
    • Able to lift up to 50lbs
    • Able to travel regularly and stay overnight as business necessary
