  • Overview

The Wills Group is currently searching for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for the development and management of financial/operational reporting to be used by both internal and external users. Your key responsibilities will include working closely with accounting and operations personnel to standardize existing reporting and collaboratively identifying value-added reporting enhancements to improve efficiency/robustness of reporting to all users. Using Microsoft Dynamics AX, Management Reporter, SSRS, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel, the Senior Accountant will enable the TWGI organization to significantly enhance reporting capabilities.

The Senior Accountant is the bridge between data and the actionable report. They play a critical role in the Finance and Accounting department as they touch every aspect of the business. Therefore, they should have a strong understanding of the company as a whole. As part of the accounting team, they will also work closely with the Operations and Executive teams to ensure that all reported data is correct (we are not interested in a person who simply reports data and does not validate it) so being a team player is key. We are looking for a senior accountant who has strong experience in (1) full cycle accounting, (2) financial and management reporting including report writing, and (3) business analytics.  They will need to enjoy creating reports as opposed to simply preparing/running reports created by others. The candidate should be able to analyze data quickly, have an expert knowledge of Excel, and be detail-oriented. They must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be a self-starting and process oriented individual with a desire to build out and develop this position to move the business forward.
