    SMO Energy is currently looking for a Residential Energy Sales Consultant to join their team. This person will be responsible for the sales of fuel tanks, HVAC equipment and ancillary accessories to new and existing residential customers and prospects with the goal of attaining and retaining customers profitably in the marketing area of SMO. In addition, all transactions are designed to enhance total customer satisfaction in compliance with Corporate Philosophy.

    Accountabilities

    • Execute prescheduled sales calls in a timely and efficient manner 
    • Develop new sources for leads. Develop and execute an effective lead generation system, including lead management and effective utilization of the CRM sales lead pipeline program. This includes timely execution and follow-through on all company provided leads. The ESR is also accountable for self-generating and effective execution of leads through the CRM Pipeline.
    • Actively participate in the design and execution of all equipment sales related marketing materials.
    • Assist the Equipment (Installation) Supervisor in coordinating equipment installations. Coordinate initial service with the Delivery Services Manager and/or Equipment Services to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
    • Develop a strong technical knowledge of the products and services of the Company as well as competitive products and services.
    • Use strong telephone and writing skills to achieve appointments with prospects, resolve customer complaints, credit problems and sell fuels and services.
    • Develop strong relationships with third parties such as realtors and/or builders to provide qualified leads. Make presentations to realtor groups meetings.
    • Engage customers to monitor satisfaction levels and to upgrade them to automatic, SmartPay or service contracts for customer retention.
    • Make presentations to and be involved in community groups and non-profit organizations to enhance the Company’s image and develop leads. Assist in execution of any trade shows, promotions and advertising as directed by the Field Sales Manager.
    • Fulfill assigned responsibilities when the Company Contingency Plan is in effect.

    Required Qualifications

    • 5 plus years of HVAC Industry Experience
    • Ability to manage a sales territory, consisting of new and existing customers
    • Computer Software Proficiency for multiple platforms
    • Ability to have a flexible schedule and be available in the evenings and weekends to meet with the customers as assigned.
