The Accounting Department provides service to The Wills Group, Inc. and its subsidiary corporations. The incumbent reports directly to the Controller in the performance of duties. The incumbent is to be knowledgeable of all general ledger sources and the flow of accounting data.
The essential function of the Tax Staff Accountant is to review and maintain the accuracy of all general ledger accounts relating to all jurisdiction taxes. This position is responsible for preparation of Petroleum taxes to multiple States and Counties. Preparing Sales tax returns, personal property tax returns, and real estate payments is a major portion of this position. In addition, this position also coordinates all external tax audits and renews all licensing and bond requirements. This position assists with operating statement review, related entries, supporting schedules and reconciliations. An additional key component of the position includes identifying and implementing improvements in key business processes.

The Information Technology (IT) Department is currently seeking a Help Desk Analyst. The incumbent will provide technical support and services to The Wills Group and all other business units by responding to requests for assistance from users, franchisees and customers. The Help Desk Analyst will primarily be responsible for managing the queues for help desk calls, both online and via telephone. He or she will troubleshoots hardware, software, network problems and manages any issues that need to be escalated to outside vendors or employees to resolve. This person will help with training for employees on new software and hardware. They will manage user IT assets by keeping inventory of equipment and installing, upgrading and replacing equipment for the company and acts as a backup for convenience stores as necessary. They will proactively monitor IT infrastructure to resolve issues for users quickly. They will interface with outside vendors to resolve issues for The Wills Group and as a backup for the convenience store and dealer network. He or she will also act as a backup to the Network Operations Manager when not available to ensure backups are complete.

Fuels Pricing Manager is responsible for the management of fuel pricing for the Retail Marketing business units of The Wills Group. This includes development and execution of the pricing strategy to meet Retail Marketing’s Operating Plans. It also includes management of the pricing software to ensure accurate and timely communication of motor fuel prices to the wholesale and retail locations.
